It's been a while since I last posted, but, yes, I am still busy making those janky maps. i have honed my skills on the software quite nicely. i got a new tattoo from voodoo monkey on the west side. it looks like this:
it didn't hurt at all, but andrew is too chicken to get one (bok buhhh bok buuh bok). Welp, I'm also going to Puerto Rico in a month, as Hani reminded me via instant messenger today. We are total gringos as the swim up bar at our hotel suggests, but I don't care. Andrew and I are also planning on perhaps going to New Orleans sometime this summer- the rates are cheap and the boneyards are creepy. Plus we need to get away from the midwest with its god awful two seconds of sunshine a year. I calculated it- 2007 has seen approximately 15 minutes of sunshine and a jillion feet of snow, with a half a jillion in april alone. did i also mention my new cat? yoko is my new cat off the streets, whiny, furry, and sure stinky. she also eats anything that isn't nailed down- sausage, cheesecake, sushi, the condensation from beer, etc.
by the way, i'm totally digging this whole french riviera fashion inspiration this spring- nautical prints, black and white stripes, YELLOW!, oversized geometrical prints, swing jackets with huge buttons, silk shirts with oversized bows, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE mexican textiles. I am no fashion guru, i just know what i like.
